Sophie

The Sophie project began with a conversation about light. The owners, taken with the idea of living in their garden rather than beside it, asked for a kitchen that would feel like an extension of the landscape. We answered with a six-metre sliding system — profiles so slender they almost vanish — and a warm walnut island that anchors the space while everything around it opens up. On summer evenings, the boundary between kitchen and garden simply ceases to exist.
