01What is a minimalist window?
A standard aluminium or PVC window shows 10 to 15 cm of frame around the glass. A minimalist window reduces the visible part to a few centimetres — down to 2 cm where two sliding sashes meet — and hides everything else in the masonry: outer frame, rails, rollers, drainage. At equal size, it lets in up to 20% more light.

03Renovation or new build
In renovation we replace existing windows and enlarge openings where the structure allows. In new builds we work from the plans with your architect so the frames disappear into the masonry. Every project starts with a visit.

Price depends on the system, dimensions, glazing, finish and installation. A minimalist window costs more than a standard one — it is a made-to-measure architectural product, manufactured in 6 to 8 weeks. We quote in detail after the visit, without obligation.
05Aluminium windows, joinery, slim windows: the vocabulary
Depending on the trade, people say windows, aluminium joinery, aluminium frames or exterior joinery: it is the same object — the frame holding the glass — as fixed, casement, tilt-and-turn, sliding or pivot. What makes a window minimalist is the slimness of the visible profiles, also called a “slim window” or “slim-profile frame”, obtained with a recessed outer frame and a concealed sash.
Our frames are thermally broken aluminium with insulating double or triple glazing: a low Uw value, tested air and water tightness, acoustic insulation suited to the city, and any RAL colour — matt black, anthracite, bronze or the colour of your façade. We install in Brussels (Uccle, Ixelles, Woluwe, Watermael-Boitsfort), in Walloon Brabant (Waterloo, Lasne, Rixensart, La Hulpe, Wavre) and further afield.

For slim profiles and large sizes, aluminium has no equal: stiffer, it carries heavy glazing with much thinner frames, does not yellow and takes any colour. PVC stays cheaper on small standard windows — not our trade.
A made-to-measure aluminium window is priced per project, not per square metre: the system, dimensions, glazing, finish and installation can double the price. After the visit, you receive a detailed quote, window by window.
Repairing an existing window depends on its system and age. Describe the problem — broken glazing, roller, handle, gasket — and we will tell you honestly, on the first call, whether a repair makes sense or replacement is the better option.
